Hair Loss Treatments
Hair loss treatments, or hair cosmetics, are today
widely used. Not everyone is aware that the chemicals used in many of
these products can break the hairs.
UHLO comment: Don't bleach, color, dye or perm your hair. This will make the hair weaker. Less is better.
When we talk about hair loss treatments, we mean mainly female hair
loss treatments or natural hair loss treatments. Hair loss products, like rogaine, propecia and procerin,
are
discussed here, while hair transplant is discussed here.

Frequent use of hair treatments, such as bleaching or
permanents, can cause hair breakage. Also, regular or excessive use of
dyes, gels, relaxers and
hair sprays can have a similar effect on the hair.
If your scalp gets inflammatory, irritated or shows
other symptions, change your product, and if the sympton persists, see
a dermatologist.
As
you get older, your hair grows slower, it gets thinner and it often
turns grey as well (due to lack of melanin). These factors leads to
that more people treat their hair and treat that they treat it more
often.
Thinner hair that grows slower is more vulnerable to
damage from bleach, color and permanent waves, and gets damaged or
breaks more easily. As you and your hair age, you should treat your
hair for as short a time as possible.
Prescription shampoos that treat scalp diseases, such as dandruff and
seborrheic dermatitis, do not damage your hair more than other
shampoos. It is better to treat your condition than leave it. By
leaving it your scalp will typically be itching, red and scaling. This
will lead you to scratching your scalp, which causes more hair loss
than using the prescription shampoos.
